MERAKI x 'AN INITIATIVE- TOUCH YOUR SOUL' | EDUCATION AND HEALTH

In a country like India, where most of the authentic, ethnic art has deep roots in rural life, it is the responsibility of the more fortunate part art enthusiasts to ensure that enough resources are available to everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status. With this as our goal, we have tied up with 'An Initiative- Touch Your Soul', an NGO that ensures the academic nurturing and medical wellbeing of children in rural Uttarakhand. 

 

MERAKI x 'iVillage' | Helping Artisans

By Tying up with the social enterprise iVillage, we make effort to create employment and generate livelihood for the rural population with a focus on women, in and around Uttar Pradesh (U.P.), India. Our shared objective is to train, upskill and employ rural youth and homemakers in various aspects of creating quality products and services and taking them from the village to the world.

 

  

 

ABOUT THE FOUNDER-

"As someone with a keen interest in exploring different art forms, from drums and music production to cooking and pottery, I believe that creating a platform to raise funds for COVID-19 relief by selling my own artwork along with others' pieces is an extremely interesting and effective way to help fight the pandemic."
